Welcome

TEAM is an ecumenical faith-based coalition of urban and suburban churches is Mercer County. Our Mission is to strengthen partnership and collaboration between denominations and expressions of Christian faith. We also work to promote inter-religious dialogue, cultural and racial-ethnic sensitivity, respect and understanding. Our membership includes Christians of ALL races, ethnicities, social classes and denominational affiliations

TEAM was formally organized in 1977 as a merger of the Council of Churches of Greater Trenton and the Trenton Urban Ministry. However, the heritage of ecumenical work in the Mercer County dates back to 1941 when churches really began working cooperatively in their community on issues of mutual concern as well as affirming the fellowship of churches with other concerned community groups.

Celebrating TEAM's receipt of the 2007 Award for Excellence from

the National Council of Churches and the Church World Service.
